Position Overview

Role Summary

Reporting directly to the Director of Commercial and Farm, the Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role within the Sales Division team, serving as the primary liaison between our sales personnel and various insurance providers.

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that One Insurance Group achieves its sales and service objectives in collaboration with the Sales Division team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage new business submissions to insurance markets, including addressing inquiries from markets and organizing responses and quotes received.
  • Monitor and notify Insurance Advisors of any potential issues or concerns related to accounts.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance sector, with a preference for expertise in Commercial and/or Farm insurance.
  • Proficiency in using Epic or other insurance software, along with various insurance portals.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer proficiency.
  • Possession of a valid Manitoba Driver's License and willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Level 2 insurance license is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of diverse risk classes and capability to manage both large and small accounts.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance markets, policies, wordings, and procedures is essential for this role.
