The Senior Property Insurance Specialist is a key member of our team at BRIO INSURANCE, responsible for processing a variety of personal lines policies and intricate insurance contracts related to residential homes and personal belongings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a variety of personal lines policies and intricate insurance contracts related to residential homes and personal belongings.
- Identify client needs and provide information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits, and other policy features best suited to meet the client's needs; work with clients to manage and reduce their risk.
- Recommend and implement a client's insurance coverage, premiums, and collect payment; promote BRIO INSURANCE products and services.
- Respond to emergencies and assist clients with their claims.
- Write new policies with multiple locations and boats independently.
- Maintain a Personal Lines book in excess of $600K in premium (subject to Manager discretion).
- Assist with internal training of new staff and provide supervision when required.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to organizational policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality, security, and fraud prevention.
Requirements:
- Working towards or holding Level 3 Brokers Insurance license.
- Understand specifics about coverage limitations to; vacant dwellings, seasonal, rentals, Course of Construction, and mobile homes, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions.
- Knowledge of BRIO INSURANCE products and services.
- Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry.
- Proficient computer skills.
