Position Overview:

The Marketing Broker plays a crucial role within the Sales Division, serving as the key liaison between the sales team and insurance providers. This position is essential in ensuring that ONE Insurance achieves its sales and service objectives in collaboration with the Sales Division.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the processing and documentation of all renewals and endorsements for designated Insurance Advisors using the Broker Management System (BMS).
  2. Keep BMS client files current and organized according to ONE Insurance's file management standards.
  3. Handle new business submissions to insurance markets, including addressing inquiries from markets and compiling responses and quotes.
  4. Monitor accounts and notify Insurance Advisors of any potential issues or concerns.
  5. Support Insurance Advisors during their absence or unavailability as part of a collaborative team effort.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance sector, preferably in Commercial and/or Farm insurance.
  2. Proficiency in using Epic or similar insurance software and various insurance portals is essential.
  3. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer proficiency.
  4. A valid Manitoba Driver's License and willingness to travel as needed.
  5. Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  6. A flexible, positive team player with strong communication skills.
  7. Level 2 insurance license is preferred.
  8. Comprehensive understanding of various risk classes and the capability to manage both large and small accounts.
  9. In-depth knowledge of insurance markets, policies, and procedures is critical for this role.
