Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a Medical Secretary, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and confidential medical records, reports, and documents
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Manage and coordinate appointments, messages, and correspondence
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • One year of relevant experience in a medical office setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English and French (Cree is an asset)
