Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Phone Etiquette and Communication: Provide excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Insurance Billing and Accounts Receivable: Accurately process insurance claims and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payment.
- Front Desk Coordination: Coordinate with the front desk team to ensure administrative protocols run smoothly and efficiently.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule appointments and manage patient information to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bilingualism (French & English): Fluency in both French and English is required.
- Medical Terminology: Some knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
- Administrative Experience: Previous experience in providing administrative assistance is required.
- Organizational and Multitasking Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential for this role.
- Teamwork and Attention to Detail: Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain attention to detail and accuracy.
- Healthcare Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
- Certification or Diploma: Certification or diploma in Office Administration is preferred.
