Hotel Front Desk Clerk Job Description

The Quarterdeck Inn & Marina Resort is seeking a skilled and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage hotel room inventory, reservations, and assignments
  • Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information about hotel services
  • Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Compile and review daily records, guest accounts, and receipts
  • Present statements of charges to departing guests and process payments

Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent
  • Experience in front desk operations or hotel management is an asset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Benefits:
