Business Development Director

At BMO Financial Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Director to facilitate growth initiatives and drive business development. This role is responsible for maintaining an outstanding record of revenue generation, ensuring internal control standards, and providing exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting and cross-selling Bank products and services.
- Participate in Bank and community activities to increase brand visibility and enhance new business opportunities.
- Apply deep expertise in bank products, processes, and systems to ensure high-quality client experiences.
- Advise business clients on cash management and deposits solutions.
- Develop and manage commercial banking relationships, plan for prospective clients, and manage pipelines.
- Provide oversight, monitoring, and reporting for assigned business groups.
- Analyze financial and related data to determine client needs and structure Bank products and services.
- Monitor and track performance, addressing any issues.
- Ensure proper documentation for loans and cash management services.
- Review loan applications and cash management service agreements for completeness and accuracy.
- Negotiate terms for credit and cash management services.
- Act as daily sales contact for clients on sales-related questions.
- Track implementation requests and provide research and data gathering to sales teams.
- Ensure accurate billing to clients.
- Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support.
- Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
- Data-driven decision making - In-depth.
