Veterinary Client Coordinator

Location: Calgary, AB

VCA Canada is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Client Care Coordinator to enhance our team. This role is vital in ensuring that our clients and their pets receive a warm and supportive experience during their visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize candidates with a background in customer service and administrative roles.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and veterinary software is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, fostering a comforting atmosphere for pets and their owners.
  • Manage a multiline phone system efficiently, scheduling and tracking appointments.
  • Oversee the admission and discharge processes for pet patients.
  • Handle invoicing, billing, and payment processing with accuracy.
  • Exhibit initiative and the ability to work autonomously.
  • A certificate in Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) is beneficial.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the reception area and other communal spaces.
  • Show eagerness to learn about veterinary services and assist staff with various tasks.
  • Possess a genuine affection for all companion animals.
