Position Overview

VCA Canada is seeking a dedicated Client Care Coordinator to join our veterinary team. This part-time role is essential for maintaining a high standard of service and ensuring a positive experience for both our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a friendly and inviting atmosphere for clients and their pets.
  • Assist veterinary professionals with various procedures and treatments as needed.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, effectively scheduling and tracking appointments.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to clients for appointment reminders and future bookings.
  • Handle email communications with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal messages.
  • Oversee the admission and discharge process for pet patients, including grooming clients.
  • Manage invoicing and billing processes, including creating estimates and processing payments.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently to optimize clinic operations.
  • Learn about pet nutrition and wellness to assist clients in selecting appropriate diets for their pets.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills, creating a comforting environment for clients.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational abilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness in reception and common areas.
  • Show a willingness to learn about veterinary services and assist staff with various tasks.
