Seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic individual to provide exceptional client care and administrative support in a fast-paced veterinary hospital setting.

Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (C.A.R.E.) Centre is a leading veterinary hospital in Calgary, AB, seeking a full-time Veterinary Reception, Client Care professional to join our team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized and motivated individual to provide top-notch support to our clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming and appreciative experience.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be calm under pressure, and have prior experience in customer service and administrative duties.

  • Excellent customer service skills, with a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment.
  • Ability to answer a multiline phone system and track and book appointments effectively.
  • Scheduling appointments, admitting and discharging pet patients, and handling invoicing and billing.
  • General housekeeping duties, including cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, with a willingness to learn more about veterinary services and updated medical office procedures.
  • A love for all companion animals and a Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset.

Available weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility for shift work that may include starting as early as 6am and evening shifts ending as late as 2am.
