VCA Canada is seeking a dedicated full-time Client Care Coordinator to enhance our support team. This role is vital in ensuring that our clients and their pets receive a warm and welcoming experience.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, remain composed under pressure, and prioritize customer service:

  • Experience in customer service and administrative tasks is essential.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to learn VCA Woofware is preferred.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with a knack for making pets and their owners feel comfortable.
  • Proficiency in managing a multiline phone system and effectively scheduling appointments.
  • Responsibilities include admitting and discharging pet patients, as well as invoicing and processing payments.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in completing tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management abilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the reception area, pet holding areas, and common spaces.
  • Willingness to expand knowledge of veterinary services and assist veterinary staff with various tasks.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings and late nights, as well as weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting or completion of an accredited Veterinary Assistant program is advantageous.
