About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Mile High Poutine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen runs efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all dishes are prepared to order and that customers are satisfied with their meals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift heavy objects.
