Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and specials to drive sales and customer satisfaction
- Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies
- Kitchen Operations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective service
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize profitability
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer feedback and complaints
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations and procedures
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections to identify and address any health and safety risks
- Education and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
- Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
