Position Overview

The Lodge Hospitality Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience through a dedicated and detail-oriented approach. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and committed to enhancing the overall guest journey by showcasing exemplary customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily upkeep of guest accommodations, including making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, vacuuming, and fulfilling special requests to enhance room presentation.
  • Manage the cleanliness of all communal areas within the lodge and assist with guest laundry services.
  • Lead the hospitality team by taking initiative, providing support and training to staff, and assisting the Lodge Management team with various tasks as needed.
  • Deliver a professional, organized, and detail-oriented hospitality experience.
  • Coordinate the inventory of on-site beverages and bar supplies.
  • Understand and enforce local liquor regulations.
  • Handle the ordering, receiving, and daily record-keeping of all alcohol sales through the on-site point-of-sale system.
  • Ensure accurate billing for all point-of-sale transactions.
  • Perform radio duties as necessary to support field operations.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including food safety and workplace hazardous materials information system protocols.
  • Support the implementation of health and safety initiatives.
  • Assist in the execution of sustainability initiatives.
  • Participate in emergency response training and support during critical situations.
  • Provide assistance to guests and staff during area visits as required.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent specialized training in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the ski industry is preferred.
  • Valid Serving It Right Certificate.
  • Knowledge of various wines, beers, and liquors.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-end, fast-paced hospitality setting.

Working Conditions

  • This position is located in a remote area, requiring employees to arrange their own transportation to and from the lodge.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Manual dexterity is necessary for operating job-specific equipment consistently.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
