Job Title: Hospitality Services Representative

At CMH Heli-Skiing, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospitality Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our lodge operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the highest level of service in our hospitality services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Room Care: Ensure guest rooms are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, including making beds, cleaning washrooms, and vacuuming.
  • Culinary Support: Assist with serving, clearing, and cleaning in our culinary program.
  • Common Area Cleaning: Execute the cleaning of all common areas of the lodge, including guest laundry.
  • Professional Hospitality: Provide a professional, highly organized, and detailed hospitality experience to our guests.
  • Ski Program Support: Assist with radio duty and rescue response in support of our ski program.
  • Health and Safety: Follow OH&S, food safe, and WHMIS best-practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Post-secondary education in a hospitality field, preferred.
  • Certifications: Food Safe Certificate and First Aid Certificate, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' hospitality experience in a high-end, fast-paced environment.

  • Task Management: Ability to prioritize tasks in a complex and fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Trustworthiness: Trustworthy and self-directed in completing the core functions of the role.
Working Conditions:

This type of hospitality work is challenging and demanding. Successful staff are intrinsically motivated by a passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences with our guests.

Work Environment:

  • This job is in a remote area of British Columbia. Employees are required to find their own way to and from the lodge or helicopter staging area for work shifts.
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manual dexterity to operate job-specific equipment on a constant basis.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business.
