Position Overview

The Lodge Hospitality Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience through a dedicated and detail-oriented approach. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring guest rooms and common areas are impeccably maintained.
  • Assist in managing beverage service during après-ski and dinner, supporting the bar staff as needed.
  • Lead and mentor the hospitality team, fostering a collaborative environment and providing training as required.
  • Maintain a high standard of organization and professionalism in all guest interactions.
  • Manage on-site beverage inventory and ensure compliance with local liquor regulations.
  • Handle the ordering and record-keeping of alcohol sales accurately.
  • Perform radio communication duties to assist field operations as necessary.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food safety and workplace safety practices.
  • Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives within the lodge.
  • Participate in emergency response training and assist during any emergency situations.
  • Engage with guests during their stay, providing support and information as needed.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent specialized training in hospitality or a related field.
  • Experience in the ski or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Valid Serving It Right Certificate.
  • Knowledge of various alcoholic beverages.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with colleagues and guests.

Working Conditions

  • This position is located in a remote area, requiring personal transportation to the lodge.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

A competitive daily rate will be offered based on qualifications and experience, along with health and dental benefits after a specified period of employment.
