Position Overview

The Junior Kitchen Supervisor plays a vital role in the daily management of their assigned cooking station. Acting as the primary contact for Commis Chefs, this position supports the Chef de Partie in overseeing station operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, season, and cook dishes according to specific dietary requirements.
  • Adhere to recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Guide and mentor Commis Chefs.
  • Contribute to menu development.
  • Ensure compliance with station opening and closing protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station and kitchen, following safety and sanitation practices.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.
Qualifications
  • Culinary diploma with a minimum of two years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Proficient in both a la carte and bulk cooking methods.
  • Previous leadership experience within a culinary team.
  • Valid food safety certification.
