Position Overview

The Junior Kitchen Supervisor plays a vital role in the daily operations of their assigned culinary station. Acting as the primary contact for Commis Chefs, this position assists the Chef de Partie in overseeing the station's activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, season, and cook dishes according to specific dietary requirements as needed.
  • Adhere to recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Guide and mentor Commis Chefs.
  • Contribute to menu development.
  • Ensure compliance with station opening and closing protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station and kitchen by following safety and sanitation practices.
  • Support inventory management and ordering processes.
Qualifications
  • Culinary degree with a minimum of two years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in both a la carte and bulk cooking.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen setting.
  • Valid food safety certification.
