About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Anejo Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading a team of cooks and specialist chefs to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and specialist chefs to achieve high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and menus to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Supervise the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Train and develop the skills of junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and expertise to perform their roles effectively.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to plan and implement menus, manage kitchen inventory, and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
