Position Overview

The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a blend of leadership, customer service, and operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Management: Identify the types of services to be provided and establish operational protocols.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage cash flow and prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and cash reports.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance assessments of team members.
  • Cost Management: Analyze and manage the costs associated with products and services.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and oversee inventory management processes.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Engage with suppliers to negotiate terms for food and other necessary supplies.
  • Marketing Participation: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to all patrons.
  • Operational Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, control, and assess daily operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in using electronic cash registers.
  • Familiar with MS Office applications.
  • Experience with point of sale systems.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Engage in repetitive tasks and physically demanding activities.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is required. This is a permanent position, with a work schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week.
