Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure the efficient operation of the restaurant.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, noisy, and odorous
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession, restaurant
  • Transportation: Own transportation
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, dependability
