Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Horton's. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Monitor and control restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
    • Manage staff schedules, time-off requests, and performance evaluations.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Monitor and control restaurant finances, including sales, labor costs, and inventory expenses.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales growth and profitability.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing and promotional plans to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional materials and campaigns.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor costs, and customer service.
