Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day HR functions, key initiatives, and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide support with recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance, conflict resolution, labour relations, and learning and development.
  • Assess and implement strategies to improve workplace efficiency and productivity.
  • Handle employee concerns in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Assist supervisors and managers with disciplinary procedures.
  • Develop and administer HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employees with benefit-related questions and provide guidance on short- and long-term leaves of absence.
  • Provide administrative support and manage HR documents, templates, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate HR-related meetings and events.
  • Run ad-hoc reports as requested.
  • Update employee records.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations to ensure compliance with federal and provincial laws.
Requirements
  • College diploma in Human Resources or several years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of HR experience.
  • CHRP or SHRM-CP certification (highly preferred) or willingness to work towards professional designation.
  • Driver's license (preferred).
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an open office environment with a moderate noise level. The role requires the ability to work basic office equipment, including laptops, keyboards, scanners, and copiers. The employee will be required to sit for long periods and occasionally stand. The role also requires the ability to travel locally, overnight, or internationally.
