Job Summary

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the HR Business Partners in delivering day-to-day HR functions and key initiatives. This includes onboarding, recruitment, performance management, compliance, conflict resolution, labour relations, and learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including creating job postings and coordinating interviews.
  • Support performance management processes, including performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Provide guidance on labour relations and conflict resolution.
  • Assist with learning and development initiatives, including training programs and employee development plans.
  • Manage HR documents, templates, and policies.
  • Coordinate HR-related meetings and events.
  • Run ad-hoc reports as requested.
  • Update employee records.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and ensure compliance with federal and provincial laws.
Requirements
  • College diploma in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of HR experience.
  • CHRP or SHRM-CP certification (highly preferred).
  • Driver's license (preferred).
Work Environment

The HR Generalist will work in an open office environment with a moderate noise level. The employee will be required to sit for long periods and occasionally stand. The employee will use basic office equipment and will be required to travel locally, overnight, or internationally.
