Job Summary

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the HR Business Partners in delivering day-to-day HR functions and key initiatives. This includes onboarding, recruitment, performance management, compliance, conflict resolution, labour relations, and learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including creating job postings and coordinating interviews.
  • Support performance management processes, including performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Provide guidance on labour relations and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Assist with compliance and regulatory requirements, including employment standards and labour laws.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining employee records and updating HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • College diploma in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role.
  • CHRP or SHRM-CP designation an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

The HR Generalist will work in an open office environment with a moderate noise level. The employee will be required to sit for long periods and occasionally stand. The employee will be required to use basic office equipment and travel locally, overnight, or internationally.
