SUMMARY

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with extensive expertise in the implementation, design, configuration, and support of JD Edwards applications. This role entails gathering and structuring business requirements, analyzing data needs, conducting systems analysis, and facilitating design activities. The selected candidate will lead and support all stages of the system development life-cycle for JD Edwards applications. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering and supporting Tier-One ERP applications. Strong project management skills are also required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Organizing and facilitating meetings with functional users and business leaders to document processes and gather functional requirements.
  2. Expertly troubleshooting technical issues and devising action plans for resolution.
  3. Conducting analysis and design activities for modules and/or applications to be delivered.
  4. Modifying and enhancing JD Edwards applications in accordance with established methodologies.
  5. Utilizing experience to propose and support business improvements.
  6. Coordinating quality assurance efforts by developing and executing comprehensive test plans.
  7. Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
  8. Creating user documentation for deployed modules, applications, and processes.
  9. Designing and configuring automated business process workflows.
  10. Coordinating system signoff and adhering to all change management protocols.
  11. Researching and resolving help desk issues related to the core JD Edwards application.
  12. Collaborating effectively with all workgroups, even those outside formal authority lines.
  13. Assisting in project management tasks, including status reporting, team coordination, and documentation of RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a business and/or project analyst with Tier-One ERP applications, preferably Oracle Enterprise One (JD Edwards).
  3. At least 10 years of experience in delivering JD Edwards application solutions or equivalent.
  4. Demonstrated skills in business analysis, quality assurance, and implementation of Tier-One ERP applications.
  5. Comprehensive understanding of ERP methodologies.
  6. Experience with integrating enterprise application solutions such as DSI, EDI, Salesforce, and OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) is advantageous.
  7. Knowledge of JD Edwards Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing, and Inventory modules is required.
  8. Familiarity with JD Edwards Finance Modules is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. Occasionally, the employee may need to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 5 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Significant digital dexterity, such as using a computer keyboard, is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment noise level is typically moderate, as it is generally based in an open office setting. Some tasks may require work in operational units, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and hearing protection. There may also be exposure to outdoor elements and the need to use stairs and elevators.
