POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Functional Business Analyst with extensive expertise in JD Edwards application implementation, design, configuration, and support. This role involves the collection and organization of business requirements, data analysis, and conducting systems analysis and design activities while facilitating the development, testing, and delivery of systems.

The selected candidate will oversee and support all stages of the system development life-cycle for the JD Edwards application. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering and supporting Tier-One ERP applications. A solid foundation in project management principles and practices is also required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize and lead meetings with functional users and business leaders to document processes and gather functional requirements. Demonstrate proficiency in diagnosing technical issues and formulating effective resolution strategies. Conduct analysis and design tasks for modules or applications slated for delivery. Modify and enhance JD Edwards applications in accordance with established methodologies. Utilize expertise to propose and implement business improvements. Coordinate quality assurance activities by developing and executing comprehensive test plans. Actively seek opportunities to elevate customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships. Produce user documentation for deployed modules, applications, and processes. Design and configure automated business process workflows. Ensure system signoff and compliance with all change management protocols. Investigate and resolve help desk inquiries related to the core JD Edwards application. Collaborate effectively with all teams, even those outside of formal authority structures. Assist in project management tasks, including status reporting, team coordination, and documentation of Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a business and/or project analyst with Tier-One ERP applications, preferably Oracle Enterprise One (JD Edwards). Over 10 years of experience in delivering JD Edwards application solutions or equivalent. Proven expertise in business analysis, quality assurance, and implementation of Tier-One ERP applications. Comprehensive understanding of ERP methodologies. Experience with integrating enterprise application solutions such as DSI, EDI, Salesforce, and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) is advantageous. Familiarity with JD Edwards Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing, and Inventory modules is essential. Knowledge of JD Edwards Finance Modules is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The role requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and the use of hands for various tasks. Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be necessary. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly. Vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Significant dexterity is required for computer use, and effective oral communication is essential for job performance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The typical noise level in the workplace is moderate, as it is generally based in an open office environment. Some tasks may require working in operational units, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and hearing protection. Exposure to outdoor elements may occur, and the role may involve the use of stairs and elevators.
