Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our organization, ensuring that our financial systems are accurate and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management
    • Process invoices for consultants and vendors
    • Process electronic funds transfers (EFTs) and wire payments
    • Manage staff expense reimbursements
    • Record and reconcile monthly donations
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders
  • Financial Planning
    • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets

Requirements

  • Education
    • College-level training in finance or accounting, or equivalent work experience
  • Skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (French is an asset)
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google suite of products
