We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Elder Tree Montessori. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our school.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Coordination
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings with staff, parents, and external partners.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and reservations as needed.
- Communication and Customer Service
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to staff and parents in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to electronic enquiries and provide timely and accurate information.
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents, staff, and external partners.
- Administrative Support
- Compile and maintain accurate records, statistics, and other information as required.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
- Perform data entry and maintain digital databases.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks as required.
- Team Support
- Assist staff with various tasks and projects as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.
- Language
- Fluency in English.
- Work Hours
- 35 hours per week.
