Job Overview

The Facility Management Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing operational coordination and nurturing client relationships to guarantee smooth daily functions.

  • Oversees facilities of moderate to large-scale portfolios with significant complexity
  • Coordinates operations within a healthcare environment

Core Responsibilities

Portfolio Oversight

  • Ensures that facility uptime targets are achieved
  • Develops comprehensive annual facility management strategies
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to manage facility-related operations

Service Delivery Oversight

  • Fulfills client commitments under the Facility Maintenance and Services Agreement
  • Addresses issues and maintains open communication with clients

CMMS Work Order System Management

  • Directs work orders, verifies data accuracy, and monitors operational events

Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning

  • Collaborates on incident management strategies

Client Relationship Management

  • Establishes and nurtures client relationships
  • Acts as the primary contact for facility-related concerns

Project Management

  • Creates project plans, supervises execution, and ensures minimal disruption to operations

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensures adherence to regulatory standards

Procurement Management

  • Oversees inventory of tools and supplies
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Expertise in facility operations and maintenance management
  • Proficiency in service delivery management
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Project management capabilities
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Commitment to sustainability practices

Licenses and Professional Accreditations

  • Certified Facility Manager through IFMA
  • Certified Property Manager through IREM
  • Facility Management Administrator Designation through BOMI
  • Real Property Administrator through BOMI
