Job Overview

The Facility Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing operational coordination and nurturing client relationships to ensure efficient daily functions.

  • Oversees facilities with moderate to large portfolios characterized by high complexity
  • Coordinates operations within a Healthcare environment

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Oversight

  • Ensures that facility uptime targets are achieved
  • Develops comprehensive annual management plans for facilities
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to manage facility-related operations effectively

Service Delivery Oversight

  • Meets client commitments outlined in the Facility Maintenance and Services Agreement
  • Addresses issues promptly while maintaining clear communication with clients

Work Order System Management

  • Directs work orders, verifies data accuracy, and monitors operational events

Risk Management and Continuity Planning

  • Collaborates on managing incidents and ensuring business continuity

Client Relationship Management

  • Builds and sustains strong client relationships
  • Acts as the primary contact for facility-related inquiries

Project Management

  • Creates project plans, supervises execution, and ensures minimal disruption to operations

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensures adherence to all relevant regulatory standards

Procurement Management

  • Oversees inventory of tools and supplies
  • Performs additional duties as required

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Expertise in facility operations and maintenance management
  • Proficient in service delivery management
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Effective project management capabilities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Commitment to sustainability practices

Licenses and Professional Certifications

  • Certified Facility Manager (IFMA)
  • Certified Property Manager (IREM)
  • Facility Management Administrator Designation (BOMI)
  • Real Property Administrator (BOMI)
