We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Dana Pani Indian Cuisine Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Development
- Plan and develop menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
- Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness.
- Chef Management
- Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Train and develop staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Food Safety and Quality
- Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Implement and maintain food safety and quality control procedures.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
- Monitor and control food costs to ensure profitability.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
- Respond to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Education and Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and will be expected to stand for extended periods. A high level of physical fitness is required for this role.
