About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Emerald Culinary Club and Catering Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Instruct and oversee the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and execute menus for special events, banquets, and daily operations, ensuring that all dishes meet the company's quality and presentation standards.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other culinary personnel, to ensure that they are meeting the company's standards for quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and that all ingredients are of the highest quality.
  • Certifications and Compliance: Maintain and ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and handling certifications, including Cook Trade Certification.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
