Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Team Lead to join our Toronto office. This is a full-time hybrid position that requires strong leadership and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operational Leadership:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining payroll compliance.
Process Optimization and Automation:
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes through automation and optimization to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Working Capital Management:
  • Assist the Finance Director in optimizing working capital to support business operations effectively.
Risk Management:
  • Support the implementation of risk management processes under the guidance of the Finance Director.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record with at least 10 years of progressive experience in finance operations, including 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex process-related information to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
