Position Overview

The Financial Services Manager at Mackenzie Finance plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our financial services. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance within the financial sector.

Educational Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in finance or a related field

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Evaluation: Assess daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Compliance Management: Identify and investigate any compliance issues that arise.
  • Budget Oversight: Plan and manage the budget and expenditures effectively.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and motivate a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.
  • Policy Development: Establish and implement policies for financial control and the trading of financial products.
  • Credit Assessment: Develop procedures for evaluating credit and loan applications.
  • Loan Authorization: Authorize loan and credit applications as necessary.
  • Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial reports.
  • Advisory Role: Provide insights and advice to senior management.
  • Customer Relations: Address customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Business Development: Network to enhance business relations and promote financial services.
  • Client Support: Consult with clients post-sale to ensure ongoing support.
