Job Summary

The Senior Buyer, Programmatic is responsible for driving results by optimizing in-platform efficiencies and delivering on client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). As a trader, they must have comprehensive knowledge of the technology marketplace and a strong perspective on extracting value for clients from each platform and partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or deliver on the programmatic strategy devised by the group and recommend best-in-class data strategies for campaigns.
  • Evangelize data compliance within the team and the wider group.
  • Manage campaigns and provide direction and development to reports.
  • Fulfill key corporate partnerships and troubleshoot inventory/performance issues as they arise.

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for quality assurance and control on the set up of campaigns and associated reporting provided by their Programmatic Account Coordinators (PACs).
  • Fully accountable for all campaign optimizations and delivering on the pacing and KPIs daily.
  • Complete understanding of adserving reporting, including attribution modeling and cross-device tracking.
  • Advanced optimization analysis, including inventory, geo, win/loss.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day training and development of Programmatic Trading Coordinators.
  • Analyze data, interpret, and communicate insights from multiple sources to make complex optimizations to enhance pace and performance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze audience data and activate against them cross-channel across multiple platforms.
  • Proactively meet with the supply-side to understand the full breadth of Martech and data capabilities in the market.
  • Support new business as directed.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in administration, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in programmatic with hands-on platform experience, including multiple major Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs).
  • Proven track record of driving results in their previous role - in terms of KPIs and investment pacing.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical analysis skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of data.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to direct a team.
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $70k-$85k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of benefits, including medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits, are available to all permanent employees.
