About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dosa Corner Restaurant Ltd. as a key member of our culinary department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the high standards of our restaurant.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that they have a positive experience in our restaurant.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and maintain accurate records of staff hours and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet the demands of our customers.
  • Supervision: You will be supervising a team of 3-4 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: You will need to have excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and be a team player.
