Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

At DD Mau Restaurant (Chinatown), we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading our culinary team to deliver high-quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience.
  • Operations Management: Establish work schedules, manage inventory, and prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure the efficient operation of our restaurant.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and coaching to help them grow in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Working Conditions:

  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
