Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

Cream Pony Restaurant Inc is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient service and high-quality dishes.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, fostering a welcoming work environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
