- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our management team.
- Order Preparation: Prepare food order summaries for our chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and completed to our high standards.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules for our food service staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, providing support with housing, transportation, and other essential services.
- Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, developing and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and inclusive work culture
