Are you passionate about providing quality nursing care? We are looking for a dedicated Practical Nursing Specialist to join our team at Northern Health.


In this role, under the guidance of the Team Leader of the adult inpatient psychiatry unit, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, working with patients in a supportive environment.

Your responsibilities will include a variety of nursing tasks such as patient assessment, monitoring vital signs, administering oral medications, and providing personal care as needed.

Work Schedule: Rotating shifts including Days and Nights, from 07:00 to 15:00 and 23:00 to 07:00.

Qualifications

  • Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
Skills and Competencies:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in operating relevant medical equipment.
  • Physical capability to perform the duties associated with the role.
