In alignment with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) Standards of Practice, the LPN operates within a collaborative clinical framework, engaging closely with the healthcare team to conduct direct care activities. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals in the Emergency Department. The role involves participating in discharge planning, advocating for patients, and educating patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
