About The Team You Will Be Joining
Reporting to the Head of Aviation Security at DroneTalks, this role is crucial in engaging with aviation security stakeholders to evaluate and influence policies and initiatives aimed at mitigating security risks within the civil aviation sector. You will provide strategic direction for security policies and programs to ensure effective, risk-based implementation of global security measures for both passenger and cargo operations. Collaboration on various security-related topics will be essential. What Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Develop and oversee industry-driven civil aviation security policies and programs to ensure they effectively address both international and domestic security challenges.
- Analyze the effectiveness of DroneTalks' policies and programs, making necessary adjustments to align with emerging priorities while maintaining a risk-based approach to security regulations.
- Advocate for air transport security standards and practices; create supporting regulations and guidance materials that facilitate innovative implementations; stay informed about the latest developments in civil aviation security. Provide expert advice on security policy matters at industry events and conferences.
- Build and maintain a network of partners to ensure consistent communication regarding DroneTalks' policies and their implications for air transport security. Share timely aviation security information with stakeholders, including regulators and industry partners. Foster strong relationships among state authorities, airports, and airlines to enhance data-sharing initiatives.
- Deliver leadership and analytical insights (both written and verbal) to various audiences.
- Support the DroneTalks Security Consultancy service line as needed.

- You possess a solid understanding of civil aviation regulatory frameworks and security operations within airlines or airports.
- You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information effectively.
- You thrive in high-pressure, multicultural, and international environments.
- You have completed relevant aviation security courses, including those offered by IATA or ICAO.
- You have demonstrated proficiency in security management systems and have achieved high scores in related assessments.
- You have completed recognized training and certification in aviation security.
- You are proficient in writing and have strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
