About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Ontario Medical Reporting Inc. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Patient Information: Ensure accurate and timely flow of patient information, including medical records and test results.
  • Manage Correspondence: Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and electronic correspondence, and prepare responses as needed.
  • Schedule Appointments: Coordinate patient appointments and confirm schedules with healthcare providers.
  • Maintain Filing Systems: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and files.
  • Order Supplies: Procure and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare Reports: Enter and format medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review.
  • Initiate and Maintain Confidential Files: Establish and maintain confidential medical files and records.
  • Perform Data Entry: Accurately enter patient information and medical data into our system.
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform Light Cleaning Duties: Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Operate Medical Apparatus: Operate or monitor medical equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Clinic or hospital/medical facility.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a medical administrative role.
  • Health Benefits: Health care plan provided.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
