Job Title: Senior Real Estate Finance Manager

As a Senior Real Estate Finance Manager at National Bank, you will play a key role in supporting the Director & Team Lead in developing new business opportunities by focusing on the best players in the real estate sector. Your primary responsibility will be to structure credit and cash management arrangements, perform comprehensive financial/non-financial due diligence, and risk assessment of credit proposals. You will also negotiate the terms and conditions with clients and internal stakeholders, working collaboratively with your Team Lead.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, leveraging referral sources, existing clients, and centers of influence to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the Western Canada team, as well as our teams in Montreal and Toronto, to achieve increased revenues and continuous improvement.
  • Meet clients' changing needs by adapting and optimizing financial products and sales approaches.
  • Support the achievement of overall objectives of the Real Estate Group, working closely with the Team Lead and other partners internally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of real estate financing experience or direct experience within Commercial and/or Corporate Banking.
  • Demonstration of business development skills, understanding financial statements, accounting principles, and managing the credit quality of a portfolio with complex financing requirements.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services for real estate businesses.
  • Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
