Become a key member of our team at Banque Nationale du Canada as a Portfolio Manager specializing in Real Estate Financing. In this position, you will leverage your knowledge in credit evaluation and real estate financial structuring to make a significant contribution to our organization. Work closely with account managers to oversee intricate portfolios, negotiate financing arrangements, and uphold portfolio integrity. Recognize potential risks within the real estate market and play a vital role in supporting major stakeholders in both interim construction financing initiatives and the long-term financing of premium assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough file analyses, prepare financing proposals, and engage in negotiations
  • Negotiate financing conditions with the credit department and clients
  • Assist in the execution, renewal, and assessment of complex files
  • Ensure portfolio integrity and identify risks within the sector

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with at least 5 years of experience
  • Proven experience in real estate financing and commercial credit
  • Experience in business development is advantageous
