Key Responsibilities:

As a Regional Banking Specialist at Webster Bank, you will play a crucial role in assisting the team in achieving sales, service, and operation goals for the Region Banking Centers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Service: Respond to customers' needs accurately and timely, providing exceptional service to build strong relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Solutions: Evaluate clients' needs and offer appropriate financial products, including loans, deposits, and investment services, to meet their financial goals.
  • Transaction Processing: Perform routine teller transactions, including cash handling and account management, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Sales and Retention: Implement sales and retention strategies to drive revenue growth and customer loyalty, achieving/exceeding individual and team goals.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain compliance with regulations and bank policies, ensuring a safe and sound banking environment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coach fellow relationship Bankers, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with banking center teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Travel and Representation: Travel to various Banking Centers within the regions, representing Webster Bank and promoting our brand.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2-4 years customer sales/service experience with 1-2 years supervisory preferred, and 6 months - 2 years job experience in cash handling and customer service.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of all products and services, strong customer service skills, and ability to adapt to business needs.
