Position Overview: As a Regional Estate and Trust Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Estate & Trust Consultants (ETCs) in driving business growth and enhancing client engagement within your designated regions. Your commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining operational excellence will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Business Development: Assist ETCs in prospecting and managing their sales pipeline. Ensure that new opportunities are accurately documented and tracked, while providing insightful reporting to leaders and advisors.
- Facilitate Sales Processes: Prepare necessary documentation for client meetings, including estate planning questionnaires and financial summaries. Ensure all new business documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Quality Assurance: Provide support to ensure that all submitted documentation is complete and accurate, assisting ETCs with immediate fee reporting as needed.
- Client Engagement: Schedule and confirm client appointments, manage logistics for seminars/webinars, and assist in preparing materials for presentations.
- Administrative Support: Offer administrative assistance to ETCs, including managing correspondence, coordinating meetings, and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster a customer-centric culture to strengthen client relationships and leverage broader bank resources.
- Risk Management: Understand and apply the bank's risk appetite and culture in daily operations and decision-making.
- Operational Efficiency: Strive for effective operations in alignment with Scotiabank's values and compliance requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to a high-performance environment and promote inclusivity within the workplace.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
- A university degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of the Estate & Trust and wealth management sectors.
- Industry accreditation in Estate and Trust Administration is advantageous.
- Familiarity with legal documents such as Wills and Powers of Attorney is beneficial.
- Bilingualism (English-French) is a plus.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive approach with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Commitment to service excellence for both internal and external clients.
- Ability to adapt to change and manage challenges effectively.
