Regional Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Manager to join our team at ViewSonic. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and increasing sales revenue in the Central Ontario region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy to maintain and increase volume levels with existing assigned accounts, and promote growth in the assigned territory.
- Selectively target strategic customers in assigned areas, instituting fresh programs and improving communication between ViewSonic and the target companies.
- Build strong relationships with the highest levels of management within each assigned account, instituting programs and initiatives to drive business growth.
- Maintain a well-defined sales strategy for all accounts in the defined region, and continuously develop and improve sales techniques to achieve business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, and provide regular market intelligence to the sales team and management.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop and implement sales strategies, and contribute to the development of future marketing and sales programs.
- University or Post-Secondary degree preferred.
- Minimum years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in the designated region.
- Ability to prospect, sell, and support products within target accounts.
- Self-starter with the ability to make a substantial number of calls, handle a high volume of activity, and maintain a continuing fast pace.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Channel Sales and Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Passion for technology and a strong understanding of the visual technology industry.
This is a field sales position, and the environment is usually on the road visiting customers and prospects. Home office is the standard office environment. Travel is limited, with some nationwide travel required.
