This position reports directly to the VP of Marketing, Communications & Sales and plays a pivotal role in the organization, collaborating across various departments to execute sales strategies effectively. We are dedicated to evolving into a sales-centric organization, and your strategic insight, analytical mindset, and systematic approach will be crucial in achieving this goal. You will lead a seasoned sales team of six, with opportunities for expansion.

Salary: $100,000-$145,000

Role Overview

Strategic Planning

· Develop and implement the organization's sales strategy and budget, ensuring alignment with our long-term growth objectives.

· Lead and nurture the sales team to achieve their maximum potential and surpass sales targets in line with our strategic vision while fostering a positive and engaged work environment.

· Collaborate with the Revenue Director to assess and enhance all business strategies, pricing structures, and promotional packages to optimize revenue streams.

· Identify and recommend new business opportunities across various market segments to expand our customer base.

· Stay informed about competitors' sales and marketing tactics and respond effectively to secure business for our organization.

Team Development

· Lead with empathy and embrace our EMPOWER WITH CARE philosophy, focusing on the holistic development of each team member.

· Oversee all sales training initiatives, annual sales objectives, and organizational learning to ensure a competent sales team and a sales-oriented culture.

Customer Experience

· Ensure exceptional guest service through operational excellence to exceed customer expectations.

· Monitor client satisfaction metrics and collaborate with operations to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Administrative Responsibilities

· Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales technology systems.

· Collaborate seamlessly with the Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and Reservations teams.

· Maintain consistent communication with all departments to enhance opportunities.

· Lead coordination efforts with local tourism initiatives to position our organization as an industry leader.

· Act as a community ambassador for Kaizen Lab Inc. within our operational areas.

Qualifications

· Extensive experience in the hospitality industry with a focus on senior sales management.

· A degree in Business or Hospitality Management is preferred.

· Familiarity with Revenue Management strategies within the hospitality sector.

· Proficient in data analysis.

· Exceptional communication skills, including interpersonal, written, and presentation abilities.

· A proven track record of effective leadership and team development.

· Proficient in MS Office and various sales software.
